Playdate with Freddie & Rosie

Freddie and his sister Rosie came to Scots this afternoon as a surprise to see Josh - you should have seen the grin on Joshua's face when he saw Freddie ! We headed to the park and the beach and had some simple fun with Huddy.

And whilst Mummy wasn't looking ... guess who decided to go in swimming with Hudson fully clothed in his Scots sports gear !!

Hmm, hair cut time again

It is taking Mummy a wee while to get used to Josh having shorter hair - school rules ! So another visit to Tuan and his scissors !! Tuan was so surprised at the 'change' in Josh - he was so talkative about school !! It is so reassuring to hear others comment favourably on how much more confident Josh seems to be.

And .... breathe ...

We are making great progress on the technique of learning to breathe - freestyle is going to be so much easier soon.

My friend Tomo

As part of their homework tonight all the boys in the class had to 'draw a friend'. Needless to say Josh wanted to draw TOMO - and of course Tomo had to be dressed in his Poneke rugby gear. Don't you just love the size of the rugby boots !! Maybe there could be a new song .... "those boots are made for .... rugby, and that's just what I'll say !!

Gorgeous night for the beach

Lovely day ... gorgeous night .... so we packed up and headed over the hills to the beach. Huddy and Josh played in the water for ages; we barbequed some sausages on our portable barbeque; and then raced one another home only stopping to watch a container ship coming into Wellington as the sun went down - what a life !!

Curtis & Josh

Curtis came over for a play date after school today. Curtis & Josh used to be in the same class last year at Seatoun and Curtis is one of the boys we really want to stay in touch with. They both came home literally bursting with energy. An hour down at the park chasing a rugby ball, kicking it up and down the slide (!), T-ball team photos and then a further run around at the t-ball park - still did not tire them out !

The Story on the Classroom Wall

All the boys had to tell Mrs Bell about their EOTC last week. This is Joshua's story about the trip to the Marine Centre, the Pompeii Exhibition and also the Phoenix soccer team's visit!
