Orienteering Day

Today Scots challenged their 'sister school', Queen Margaret, to compete in an orienteering exercise on Oriental Bay. Well, you could not have asked for a better day - it was gorgeous, simply one of those stunning Wellington days without a cloud in the sky. Mummy was 'parent help' with 3 girls and 3 boys in her team (Josh included!). The exercise was well thought out and had us walking and running all around the bay, through the city streets and malls. Most importantly the children had so much fun and it ended up with a picnic at Frank Kitts Park and a play at the park. Queen Margaret won the event ... and whilst I am not biased (!!) I will mention for the record that Queen Margaret entered 64 girls and Scots had only 37 boys - go figure that out!
