Winter has arrived

We awoke this morning - early - to the sound of torrential rain, a rather loud southerly and ... hail! It was freezing - and a sure sign of the weather is when Hudson chooses to stay curled up inside and not interested at all to go on an early morning walk - winter seems to have arrived with quite an announcement!!
