What better way to start off the holidays than to go into town with Sweet Georgia and Miss Loulou for ... high tea. We have discovered Martha's Pantry' - a delightful and cute little café with round tables & chairs, floral print tablecloths & bud vases full of white daisies, (very Laura Ashley), a few setees and a wall full of jars of home-made jam and condiments and gift ideas for the kitchen.
And they wheel out their old fine bone china and one-off special teaspoons and gorgeous 3-plate layers of mini scones with jam & cream, muffins, cup cakes and club sandwiches.
Mmm, I think that we may just have to make a return visit once the children are back at school when we can fully relax and soak in all it offers.
