Georgia comes to town

Georgia is not able to come to Joshua's birthday party on Sunday so .... instead ... she flew down from Auckland for the day on Saturday as an unaccompanied minor so that she and Josh could have the day together - how amazing is that ?!?!?!

Josh took it all very seriously ... although Georgia's Daddy was down here in Wellington and was going to be at the airport, we also went and discussed what we could take along to the airport. Joshua said 'flowers, Georgia likes flowers' - so we had to quickly raid Grandma's garden on the way to the airport!

We had a glorious day - and packed a lot in. We played at home for a few hours and they jumped themselves silly on the trampoline, we went to the swimming pool, had a takeaway picnic at the beach watching Hudson swim; played at the local park, did cardboard sliding down the bank ... and then sadly had to put Georgia back on a plane to return to Auckland. She was sad to leave ... we were sad to see her leave.

These 2 met at school and had the first 1 1/2 years together in the same class. The friendship they share is very special indeed and both of them seem to hold a most special place in their heart for the other.
Josh and Georgia at the airport - Josh waited so patiently with his flowers

Opening Georgia's lovely present ... a funky LARGE smiley pen and a 4-photo frame of Josh and Georgia together - very special
Having fun at the pool

So much giggling going on

Just chilling ... and copying one another

Huddy loved having Josh & Georgia share the back seat with him !
