Sadly it was rather a cold day to be outside but the boys didn't mind as they were kept very busy running around. We noticed such a change in Joshua this year with Athletics - he was so much more confident and had a willingness to really try hard and do his best - and, best of all, he competed in all events smiling from ear-to-ear and he never ... ever gave up. It was a fantastic day! Joshua also did very well in both the 50m and 100m sprint races, the vortex and the long jump and came in the top 3 for those events. The shot put and quoits were challenging and many of the boys, including Joshua, found the throwing of both the quoit and the shot put very awkward.
Joshua enjoyed having the warmth of Mummy's jacket inbetween events - even if the jacket was pink!
