As usual, we made the most of it and packed in heaps - no surprises there !
Saturday started with the Red Eagles Softball or T-Ball team having a win. It looks like Huddy is fast becoming the team mascot. Josh has a great natural batting style but surprised everyone by throwing some strong overarm ball throws - way to go Josh !
The rest of the weekend included a gorgeous afternoon at the park with Daddy Andy, Sarah and the girls - also a wander through the woods - and then fish & chips to watch the sun go down on the beach.
And of course a weekend would not be complete without a run down to the beach with Huddy and a bonfire/barbeque on the beach. This time we didn't just cook sausages though, we also toasted marshmellows !

This weekend was just lovely .... we have so much to be grateful for ... we live in a very special suburb, house and country, we have our health, each other, a most beautiful little boy who takes us on a journey of surprises very day, a very special and human-like doggy, sincere and meaningful friendships ... it doesn't get much better than that.
