Freezing cold southerly hits Wellington

I am not kidding .... we were so sure that rugby would be cancelled this morning, it was freezing at only 7 degrees - in the middle of the game, we even had a smattering of hail!! At least the kiddies were running around but there were times that they had their little hands up under their armpits to try and keep them warm. As for the parents.... well we seriously froze on the support side-line. Joshua seemed relatively undeterred - afterall, he lead his team onto the pitch today as he was Captain !

After match report quoted .... Captain Joshua won the coin toss, and led the ‘good game’ bit at the end. He also helped Coach Rob choose the Ories' Player of the Day. He kept up his playing record too and got three awesome rips and an even more awesome try. He showed what happens when you pin your ears back and just run – he went right through the middle and was going so fast none of the Ories could get a rip as he sped past. Well done Captain Joshua!

Warm & dry snuggling up to the Mustang mascot (he even neighs!)
