As far as Mr Hudson is concerned (also known as Hudson Handsome or just simply Huddy or Huddy-bud), every day is a gorgeous day - time to play tug-of-war or fetch, time to roll around on the lawn, go for runs and swims and just 'hang out' with the family. No matter what sort of day one has, Hudson can just lift your spirits in a heart-beat with a simple wag of his tail.Hudson joined our family 6 months before Josh did - so in Joshua's eyes, Hudson has always 'been there' and at times he simply takes Huddy for granted. However, Josh is very keen to 'take ownership' when a friend admires Huddy and we have recently started to see quite a real bond there between them - best noticed of course when Josh is not aware that we are watching!
Hudson has some very cute ways .... he has his favourite teddy which goes everywhere with him; he always runs to fetch something for you when you arrive home (it doesn't pay to leave any article on clothing on the floor!); he loves to play tug-of-war and almost tries to speak to you; he also has some less desirable 'habits' which we won't go into now - but as much as we treat him as a 'person' he is a doggy afterall!
Wait until I have thrown it Huddy !
