A boy and his dog Joshua & Hudson: The Photos !!

Let's start with our 5 days in Pakiri with Sarah & Andy, Georgia & Loulou - a part of NZ we had never been to before ! The photos speak for themselves really - we were very spoilt by them all and made to feel incredibly welcome. Andy's parents' house was magical and such a playground for Joshua, Georgia & loulou (and the adults as well!) - a swimming pool (and yes, Grandad-Howie even allowed Huddy-boy to go swimming in the pool !), a water slide down the grassy banks, petanque, a ride-on go-cart, a private almost-deserted beach with 20kms of endless sand, barbeques at lunch-time ... barbeques at dinner, evening wines and cocktails - and to top it off, every day was gorgeous with blue skies and warm sunshine! Oh such a holiday !

After Pakiri and enroute back to Auckland we had a lovely day with Sarah's Mum, Narnie & Robin. We had thought Pakiri was special but Narnie and Robin's house at Stanmore Bay is truly a wee slice of paradise - perched high above the beach with its own private stepped walkway down to the sand. Narnie should seriously be in Cuisine Magazine - she put on the most scrumptious lunch and afternoon tea and has such a special 'touch' with the children and ... everything really !

Thank you Sarah & Andy, Georgia & Loulou - and both your families .... we had a most gorgeous time with you all and will remember this holiday for a very long time.

Huddy-boy, you have to realise that not EVERY soft toy in the house is for you - sadly, we had a few casualties when toys were 'over-loved' and over-'licked' by him !
