When I arrived to pick Josh up from school today, he had a grin from ear-to-ear and quickly told me that he had been awarded his Honours Card and that he, in fact, was the first boy in the junior syndicate (Years 1-3 - approximately 50 boys) to be awarded the Honours Card for 2010. To be given an Honours Card, you have to be awarded 60 merit points.
Mrs Bell asked Joshua to write a letter to Mr Cassie, the Headmaster, explaining why he got his Honours Card and here goes .... Joshua's exact words
Well done Josh ... we are so incredibly proud of you!! And another emotional moment and a huge swell of pride as I watched you walk up at assembly and be awarded your Honours Card in front of the entire Prep School.
