I know this is Josh & Hudson's blog ... however, I just wanted to share with you a table setting that I helped with for a girlfriend's 40th birthday lunch today. 'Young' Steph invited 40 girlfriends to a luncheon at her house to celebrate - Steph is also an interior designer, specialising in wallpapers, so we used wallpaper as the table runner and also did small wallpaper name tags which we tied around the champagne glasses. Steph loves pink .... so pink peonies, pink candles and water tinged with pink food colouring looked lovely and feminine. Even if I say so myself .... I think the table looks rather special !Suffice to say, the party was amazing - a real mix of quite exceptional women, lots of very funny, witty and yet heartfelt speeches, a Frank-Sinatra sing-a-like guy who crooned everyone for nearly 2 hours, a 5-course degustation menu that truly quenched all taste-buds, endless glasses of champagne, wine and sparking water .... no wonder we were all still there well int
o the evening !
