School X-Country ... go Josh go

Well after weeks of practising the day finally dawned for the Annual School X-Country. Sadly it was a day fraught with cold winds and a splattering of rain. However, we were so proud of our little ones - they obviously didn't feel the cold and really 'dug it in'. They started on the beach .... the girls headed out early and then the boys were 'let loose'. They all ran alongside the water before turning back into the school where they did a circuit of the school and then finished with a round of the large grass pitch - quite a distance really when you take into account the size of their little legs ! Many parents were there to support and it was lovely to hear all the cheering and clapping as they came across the finish line. Josh loved it and ran his little heart out !!
